Cardio after lifting = maximum FAT loss

I've learned that lifting before cardio is much better efficiency and you might wonder why?

To achieve “shreddedness”, your body needs to use your stored fat as fuel for exercise. In order to do this, you must burn off your glycogen stores first. When you weight-train, you typically use glycogen as fuel. By doing weight-training first, you can burn the majority of your glycogen stores. Knocking out your cardio after you crush the weights will burn more fat!

After a workout, your body continues to burn additional calories up to 48 hours. This is known as EPOC (excess post-exercise oxygen consumption). This occurs because your body needs energy to repair your muscles after you've challenged them. It occurs at a much higher rate after intense weight-training than after low-intensity, steady-state cardiovascular training; that's why it's important to put as much energy into your lifting sessions. If you do steady-state cardio before you lift, you won't have the energy to work as hard as you can. A less productive weight-training session can impact EPOC. Less calorie incineration for you!

A University of Tokyo Study published in Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise found that doing cardio after weight training burned more fat during the first 15 minutes of the cardio session than doing cardio before lifting. Don't believe me? Try it for yourself! Spend one day lifting before your cardio and another on the treadmill before you hit the weights.

You'll be able to tell which method works best.

Poor Sleep Changes Your Fat Cells

Think about the last time you had a bad night of sleep. How did you feel when you woke up? Exhausted, dazed, confused. Maybe even a little grumpy? It’s not just your brain and body that feel that way—your fat cells do too.

Within just four days of sleep deprivation, your body’s ability to properly use insulin (the master storage hormone) becomes completely disrupted.

But it’s just four nights, so how bad could it be? You might be able to cope just fine. After all, coffee does wonders. But the hormones that control your fat cells don’t feel the same way.

Heres why thas bad: When your insulin is functioning well, fat cells remove fatty acids and lipids from your blood stream and prevent storage. When you become more insulin resistant, fats (lipids) circulatein your blood and pump out more insulin. Eventually this excess insulin ends up storing fat in all the wrong places, such as tissues like your liver. And this is exactly how you become fat and suffer from diseases like diabetes.

Fermented Foods are more Potent than Probiotics or Vitamins

For people who want to be healthy, eating fermented foods is a great option because they provide our digestive system with healthy gut bacteria. Fermented foods go through the process of fermentation where the natural bacteria feed on the starch and sugar in the food hence creating lactic acid. This process preserves the food and creates beneficial, Omega-3-fatty acids and various strains of probiotics.

With probiotic supplements, it has been a concern that there are not enough live bacteria in the capsules to make it through the stomach and into the rest of the digestive system The fact is that fermented foods contain a significant amount more good bacteria and are more likely to make it into our guts.

When you regularly eat fermented foods, you really don’t need to take any supplements or vitamins. Fermented foods contain most of the required maximum nutrients and probiotic boost the body needs. Because these foods are more bioavailable, they are more easily assimilated into every cell of your body. So, start saving money, time and your guts by adding these foods to your daily diet.
